Stig Even Jakobsen has broad experience from general corporate and commercial law. He has worked extensively with various corporate law issues, including commercial contract negotiations and contract law, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions. He has experience from national and international commercial projects.

In addition to his legal training, Stig holds a masters degree in Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH). Together with his varied professional experience this gives him a thorough understanding of business administration and to find commercial and practical solutions as a lawyer.

Stig has a broad experience with commercialization of inventions and innovation and works with clients that are engaged in research and development. Stig has worked extensively with pensions and legal issues relating to pensions, in particular practical and legal issues relating to transfer from defined benefit schemes to defined contribution schemes as well as conducting legal due diligence of pension issues. Stig is involved in pension due diligence in co-operation with other professionals, such as actuaries and insurance brokers.
